Bidlake John

Bidlake John an English clergyman, was born at Plymouth. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford, became head-master of the grammar- chool at Plymouth, and died in 1814. He published, Sermons on Various Subjects (1795, 3 vols. 8vo); and various single sermons, poems, etc. See Allibone, Dict. of Brit. and Amer. Authors, s.v.
