Bianchi, Pietro
Bianchi, Pietro a Roman, painter, was born in 1694, and first studied under Baciccio and then under Benedetto Luti. A few of his pictures are found in the churches at Rome. At Gubbio is his picture of St. Clara, with the Angel. He painted a picture for the Church of St. Peter's that was so excellent that it was copied in mosaic in the altar of the choir.
