Besai
Be'sai (Heb. Besay', בֵּסִי, subjugator, from בּוּס; or, according to Bohlen, from Sanscrit bagaya, victory; Sept. Βασί, and Βησί v. r. Βησεί), one of the family-heads of the Nethinim whose posterity returned from Babylon (Ezr 2:49; Ne 7:52). B.C. ante 536.
