Bernard (3)
Bernard a French monk and traveller, originally OF CHAMPAGNE, lived in the latter half of the 9th century. He made, between the years 858 and 867, a voyage to Palestine, of which he gave a concise, interesting, and well-written history, which is preserved among the MSS. in the Library of St. Remy at Rheims, and, was printed by Mabillon in the Acta Sanct.
