Berandine Gabriel

Berandine Gabriel a French martyr, belonged to the Church of Geneva, in France. He was taken to Chambery, and put in prison for rebuking a priest, who in his sermon had abused the name of God. He first had his tongue cut off, and then was burned. This occurred in 1550. See Fox, Acts and Monuments, 4:407.
