Bentham, James
Bentham, James an English clergyman, was born at Ely in 1708. He was educated at Cambridge, and after several rectorships he obtained a stall in the cathedral of that city, and published, at Cambridge, in 1771, The History and Antiquities of the Cathedral Church of Ely, from 675 to 1771.
