Benhanan
Ben-ha'nan (Heb. Ben-Chanan', בֶּןאּחָנָן, son of one gracious; Sept. υἱὸς Α᾿νάν v. r. Φανά), the third named of the four "sons" of Shimon (? Shammai), of the tribe of Judah (1Ch 4:20). B.C. prob. post 1612. Perhaps the name ought to be translated "son of Hanan." SEE BEN-.
