Belteshazzar
Belteshaz'zar (Heb. Belteshatstsar', בֵּלטשִׁאצִּר, Bel's prince, that is, whom Bel favors; Sept. Βαλτάσαρ), the Chaldee or Assyrio-Babylonish name, given to Daniel at the court of Nebuchadnezzar, in Babylon (Da 1:7, etc). SEE DANIEL.
