Bav'ai (Heb. Bavvay', בִּוִּי, of Persian origin; Sept. Βενεϊv), a son of Henadad, and ruler (שִּׁר, praefect) of the half (פֶּלֶך) of Keilah, mentioned as repairing a portion of the branch wall along the eastern brow of Zion, on the return from Babylon (Ne 3:18). B.C. 446.
