Baudet, Gui bishop of Langres, was born at Beaune, in Franche Comtd, at the close of the 13th century. He was first professor of law, then chancellor of France in 1334, under Philip of Valois. He died in 1339. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
