Basilicapetri Carlo

Basilicapetri Carlo, an Italian prelate, was born at Milan in 1550. After having studied jurisprudence, he joined the Barnabites, whose general he became. In 1593 he was appointed bishop of Novara, and died Oct. 6, 1615. He wrote,: — De Concordantia Evangelistarum: — De Immunitate Ecclesiastica.
