Bartholomew of Cotton

Bartholomew Of Cotton a monk of Norwich, who flourished about 1292. He wrote a History of England, divided into three parts. Part I contains an account of the Britons; Part II treats of the Saxon and Norman kings down to the year 1292; Part III gives; much information concerning the archbishops and bishops of England from 1152 to 1292, and may be found in Wharton, Anglia Sacra, 1:397.
