Barile, Giovanni Domenico
Barile, Giovanni Domenico, an Italian theologian, lived in the early half of the 18th century. He belonged to the Order of Theatines, and distinguished himself as a preacher. He wrote, Le Moderne Conversazioni Giudicate nel Tribunale Coscienza (Ferrara and Rome, 1716): — Scuola di Teologi che Verita Ape-ta al Mondo Cristiano d' oggidl, osia l' Amor Platonico Smascherato (Modena, 1716; published under the anagram of Nicodemo Belari).
