Bardi, Geronimo (1)
Bardi, Geronimo (1), an Italian monk of the Camaldule order, was born in Florence about 1544. He distinguished himself by his erudition, but eventually became a secular priest. He died March 28, 1594, as curate of St. Matthew and St. Samuel, Venice, leaving several historical works; for which see Biog. Universelle, s.v.
