Bannaia
Bannai'a (Σαβανναῖος v. r. Βανναίος, Vulg. Bannus), one of the "sons of Asom" that renounced their Gentile wives after the captivity (1 Esdras 9:33); apparently a corruption for ZABAD SEE ZABAD (q.v.) of the genuine text (Ezr 10:33).
