Bakbukiah
Bakbuki'ah (Heb. Bakbukyah', בִּקבֻּקיָה, prob. wasting of Jehovah; Sept. Βακβακίας, βοκχείας, but other copies omit), a Levits, "second among his brethren," who dwelt at Jerusalem on the return from Babylon (Ne 11:17; Ne 12:9,25, where the identity is proved by the associated names). B.C. post 536.
