Bachrite

Bach'rite (Heb. with the article hab-Bakri', הבִּכרַי; Sept. omits, but some copies have ὁ Βεχερί; Vulg. familia Becheritarum; Auth. Vers. "the Bachrites"), the family name of the descendants of BECHER SEE BECHER (q.v.), the son of Ephraim (Nu 26:35). SEE BERIAH.
