(Βαβί v. r. Βηβαί), a chief Israelite whose "son" returned from Babylon (1 Esdras 8:37); evidently the BEBAI SEE BEBAI (q.v.) of the genuine text (Ezr 2:11), which also recurs in the same verse of Esdras.
