Auxilius Bishop of Carthage
Auxilius Bishop Of Carthage, lived at the beginning of the 5th century. Chrysostom wrote to him from Cacusus, A.D. 406, commending his zeal in promoting the peace of the Church (Ep. cxlix). He was present at the councils held at Carthage in the years 411, 412, 416; that of Cirta in 412, and Milevium in 416. See Mansi, Concilium, ii, 1336, etc.
