Athanasius Patriarch of Constantinople
Athanasius Patriarch Of Constantinople, lived in the latter half of the 13th century. He succeeded George, or Gregory of Cyprus, in 1289. Four years afterwards he abdicated and John was put in his place. He recovered this position in 1304,' and six years later was again deposed.
