Arondeau, Peter
Arondeau, Peter a French martyr of the 16th century, was born in Paris. In 1559 he went to the town of Rochelle with a little parcel of wares to sell, and there joined the Church of Christ. When asked by certain popish priests why he did not attend mass, he said "'he had been there too much already." They immediately imprisoned him, and he was condemned to death. He 'was faithful to the truth, and died Nov. 15, 1559. See Fox, Acts and Monuments, 4:445.
