Argue, James
Argue, James a preacher among the English Methodists, was an Irishman, from Crossforts, County Cavan, born in 1803. He was brought under the influence of religion in early life with the New Connection; became a missionary to his brethren in 1828, and for thirty years he labored with much success in Irish circuits. In 1861 he was removed to England, and travelled in seven circuits, enjoying good health for more than seventy years. He died in his work, at Clay Cross, County Derby, May 12, 1875.
