Arbite
Ar'bite (Heb. Arbi', אִרבִּי, Sept. Α᾿ρβί), an epithet of Paarai or Naarai, one of David's warriors (2Sa 23:35; comp. 1Ch 11:37), probably as being a native of the town ARAB SEE ARAB (Jos 15:52). In the list of Chronicles it is given as Ben-Ezbai, by a change in letters not unfrequently occurring. SEE EZBAI. (See Kennicott, Dissert. on 2 Samuel 23, p. 210.)
