Antonius (3)
Antonius a Christian poet of the 3d century, is the author of Carmen Adversus Gentes, which consists of two parts, the first treating of the vanity of heathenism, the second of the truth of Christianity. The first edition of this poem was published by Muratori, in his Anecdota, volume 1 (Milan, 1697), and in Opera S. Paulini (Verona, 1736), where it is erroneously ascribed to Paiulinus of Nola.
