Anglo-Saxon Versions The gospels, besides being published by Marshall and Thorpe, were also published in 1865 by Bosworth; and an admirable edition of the Anglo- Saxon gospels is now in course of publication at the Cambridge University Press, under the editorship of the Rev. W. W. Skeat. In this edition the readings of all the MSS., including the Lindisfarne and Rushworth glosses, are carefully given. Excellent descriptions of the MSS. and of the printed editions are furnished in the introductions to part 2 (St. Mark) and part 3 (St. Luke). (B. P.)
