Angas

Angas in Hindu mythology, were holy books belonging to the Shastras. They are six in number one pertaining to the articulation of words, another to religious usages, a third about grammar, a fourth concerning witchcraft, a fifth about astronomy, and a sixth is an explanation of hard words in the Vedas.
