Anastasius of Palestine

Anastasius Of Palestine lived during the last half of the 11th century. He was the author of Tractatus de Jejunio Gloriosissimce Deiparce quodque Servandum sit ut Legitinmum, a work originally written in Greek, but translated by Cotelerius into Latin, in Vetera Monumenta Ecclesim Grcecce, 3, 432. He also wrote Περὶ τῶν ἑπτὰ ἑβδομάδων νηστείων, which remains in MS. at the Imperial Library of Vienna. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
