Ana'ni (Heb., Anani', עֲנָנִי, protected, or perh. a shortened form of the name Anrniah: Sept. Α᾿νανί v. r. ῎Αναν), the last named of the seven sons of Elioenai, a descendant of the royal line of David after the captivity (1Ch 3:24), B.C. cir. 404.
