A'mi (Hebrew Ami', אָמַי, prob. a corrupted form of the name Amon; Sept. ῾Ημεἰ), the chief of a family that returned from Babylon (Ezr 2:57); more properly called AMON SEE AMON (q.v.) in the parallel passage (Ne 7:59).
