Allison, David

Allison, David a Presbyterian minister, was born at Galefoot Farm, in Ochiltree, Ayrshire, Scotland, in 1799. He graduated at the University of Glasgow with the honors of his class. He was licensed in 1821, and died July 7, 1858. As a preacher he was clear and perspicuous. He was not a popular preacher, but a useful one. See Wilson, Presb. Hist. Alm., 1860, p. 271.
