Allen, William (1)

Allen, William (1), a Christian martyr, was a laboring man, and lived at Somerton, England. He was burned at Walsingham in September, 1553, because he would not adhere to the rules and regulations of the Romish Church. See Fox, Acts and Monuments, 7, 381.
