Alexandroschene

Alexandroschene (for Α᾿λεξάνδρου σκηνή, Alexander's tent), a place mentioned in the Jerusalem Itinerary as 12 R. miles from Tyre, and the same distance from Ecdippa; evidently the ruin now called Iskanderuna, at the southern foot of Ras el-Abiad on the Mediterranean.
