Agapius (2)

Agapius, a Greek monk OF MOUNT ATHOS, in Macedonia, lived in the 17th century. He was the author of The Salvation of Sinners ( Α῾μαρτωλῶν Σωτηρία). Claude doubts his being the author. The work is written in Modern. Greek, and cited by Arnaud (De la Perpetuit 'de la Foi). Nau translated it into Arabic. It was printed at Venice (1641, 1664). See Moreri,. who cites Richard Simon.
