Aegidius of Viterbo
Aegidius Of Viterbo, an eminent Italian prelate and scholar, was born in 1470. He studied with the Augustinians at Yiterbo, was made doctor of theology, and in 1503 general of his order. In 1512 he attended the Lateran Council; acted as papal delegate at different courts; and died Nov. 12, 1532.
