Aduarte, Don Diego De
Aduarte, Don Diego De, a Spanish missionary, a native of Saragossa, lived in the first half of the 17th century. He was of the Order of St. Dominic, and bishop of New Segovia, in the Philippine Islands. He wrote, Historia de la Provincia idel Santo Rosario del Orden de Predicadores en Filippinas, Japon, y China (Manila, 1640). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
