Admonitionists

Admonitionists a name given by the High Church party to Fidd, Cartwright, and other Puritans in the reign of Queen Elizabeth, who sent in two "Admonitions to the Parliament," 1571, in which were set forth the abuses of the hierarchy and the grievances under which non-subscribing Protestants labored (Neal, Hist. of Puritans, 1, 188).
