Acceptus

Acceptus was a bishop in Frinaul towards the close of the 4th century, He disclosed some of his own misdeeds in order to prevent his being made bishop, on account of which the Council of Valence, in 374, established a canon that thereafter those who disclosed their own misdemeanors should, suffer suitable punishment.
