Abtalon, Ben Salomon

Abtalon, Ben Salomon, an Italian rabbi, native of Modena, lived about the middle of the 16th century. He was a member of the academy of Spanish rabbis, at Ferrara. He wrote, Responses to the Epistles of Rabbi Simon (Venice, — 1608). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
