Abraham Ostroh, Ben-David, a Jewish writer who flourished in the beginning of the 17th century, is the author of כור לזהב, or a commentary on the Chaldee paraphrase of the Pentateuch (Hanau, 1614; Frankfort-on-the-Oder, 1681): — באור על י8 8ג מדוֹת:, a commentary on the thirteen-hermeneutical rules.
