Abington, William

Abington, William, a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Patrick County Va., Sept. 30, 1798. He experienced religion in 1823; and in 1827 joined the Virginia Conferences in which he worked diligently until his death, Sept. 14, 1829. Mr. Abington was energetic, faithful successful and much beloved. — See Minutes of Annual Conferences 1830, p.76.
