Abiasaph

Abi'asaph (Heb. Abiasaph', אֲבַיאָסָŠ, father of gathering, i.e. gatherer; Sept. 'Αβιάσαφ, Vulg. Abiasaph), the youngest of the three sons of Korah the Levite (Ex 6:24); B.C. post 1740. He is different from the Ebiasaph of 1Ch 6:23,37; 1Ch 9:19. SEE SAMUEL.
