Bayer, Francisco Perez a Spanish antiquary who was born at Valentia in 1711, and died in 1794, wrote, De Numis Hebraeo-Samaritanis (Valent. 1781), and Numm. Heb. Samuel Vindicice (1790). These are standard works on the subject to which they relate.
